“After completing my MBA at Marist, my agency has involved me in different initiatives and strategic planning discussions that would not normally be part of my job description. I was invited to an executive-level retreat on internal marketing after I engaged in a discussion with my Chief Operating Officer about some of the things I learned in class. At the retreat, I felt empowered to engage in the discussions and believe I was able to contribute a unique perspective that eventually led to the implementation of several of the ideas brought forth.”

AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is the gold-standard accreditor for business programs. Only about 5% of the world's 13,000 business programs hold AACSB accreditation. When employers, especially those who have hired MBAs before, see AACSB on a candidate's credentials, they know the program met rigorous standards in faculty qualifications, curriculum, and student outcomes. It's the single most important quality signal in the MBA credential market.
Yes — if you take the accelerated path full-time. Three start terms per year (summer, fall, spring) for the accelerated track. Most working professionals choose the part-time path and finish in 2-3 years while keeping their full-time role. Both paths award the same MBA credential with the same AACSB accreditation.
No. Marist MBA students come from accounting, banking, brokerage, engineering, IT, healthcare, human resources, manufacturing, marketing, and more. The diverse backgrounds are part of the value — classroom discussions and group work draw on real expertise across industries. Students without a business background may need to complete foundation courses (waivable for some Marist undergraduates).
Not required. Admission is based on your undergraduate transcript, professional resume, and a personal statement. Marist alumni and current Marist undergraduates may also be eligible for course waivers based on relevant undergraduate business courses already completed.
